- This standard specifies the method for laboratory pulping using PFI mills. This method is limited to pulp sampling and beating, sample collection and dis ribution, and beating equipment. In principle, this standard applies to various chemical pulps and semi-chemical pulps. However, in actual operation, for some pulps with very long fibers, satis actory results may not be obtained when measured by this method.
