Scope: This standard specifies a method for taking samples representative of the entire batch of pulp. This standard applies to all kinds of pulp supplied in bales or rolls, and this method is recommended as the sampling method for all tests, except for the determination of sales quality. The sampling method for sales quality shall adopt GB/T 8944.1 or GB/T 8944.2. When determining the sales quality and other properties of pulp, the samples taken according to the sales quality sampling method can also be used for testing other properties of pulp.
