Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, specifications, labels, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and labels, packaging, transportation and storage of expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin. This standard applies to expandable polystyrene resin made from styrene monomer through suspension polymerization and adding pentane blowing agent. This standard does not apply to food grade EPS resin.
