Scope: This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of longitudinal tear detectors for belt conveyors (hereinafter referred to as detectors). This standard is applicable to detectors used to detect longitudinal tearing of conveyor belts during the process of conveying materials on belt conveyors.
