- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials and equipment, on-site sampling, pre-analysis preparations, analysis steps, allowable errors and data processing for the determination of the total amount of emulsified oil and dissolved oil in water using the static flotation method. This standard is applicable to the determination of emulsified oil and dissolved oil content in water, but the error in the determination of emulsified oil and dissolved oil in water produced by polymer flooding and chemical flooding may be too large.
