Scope: This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of PTT pre-oriented yarn. This standard is applicable to circular cross-section, semi-dull PTT pre-oriented yarns with a bus density of 33 dtex-340 dtex and a single wire density of 0.8 dtex-5.6 dtex. Other types of PTT pre-oriented yarns can be used as reference.
