- This standard specifies the test methods for hot melt adhesive coating amount and coating uniformity of hot melt adhesive linings. This standard is applicable to the determination of the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot melt adhesive for hot-melt adhesive linings based on woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and non-woven fabrics of various materials. This standard does not apply to the determination of the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive linings where the base fabric is not resistant to solvent extraction, which significantly affects the test results.
