- This standard specifies the method for measuring the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot melt adhesive for hot-melt adhesive linings. This standard is suitable for measuring the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive linings based on cotton and chemical fiber pure and blended woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and non-woven fabrics. This standard does not apply to the determination of the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive linings where the base fabric is not resistant to solvent extraction, which will significantly affect the test results.
