This part of YY 0635 is based on the special standard of GB 9706.1-2007. As stated in 1.3 of GB 9706.1-2007, the requirements of this section are more effective than the relevant requirements of GB 9706.1. If it is stated in this section that a provision of GB 9706.1-2007 is applicable, it means that the provision applies only when the requirements proposed are relevant to the anesthesia ventilator under consideration. This section specifies specific requirements for the basic performance of anesthesia ventilators (see definition in 2.1). The anesthesia ventilator referred to in this section is usually a component of an anesthesia system and is continuously operator-involved. Anesthesia ventilators used with flammable anesthesia equipment, as determined in Appendix BB, are outside the scope of this section.
