Scope: This standard specifies the method, instrument, analysis procedure and result presentation method for measuring the purity of multi-walled carbon nanotubes. This standard provides a method for measuring the purity of multi-walled carbon nanotube samples using a combination of charcoal burning, thermogravimetric analysis, transmission electron microscopy and image analysis. The purity is expressed by the content of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in the sample.
