Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and purchase order (contract) contents of alumina. This standard applies to alumina used in the production of metallic aluminum by molten salt electrolysis, and also to alumina used in the production of corundum, ceramics, refractory products and other alumina chemicals.
