Scope: This part of GB/T 20935 introduces the procedures for specific ultrasonic testing using electromagnetic ultrasonic transducers. This section describes methods for surface inspection, interior inspection, and thickness measurement using electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer technology. This section applies to all materials that can generate sound waves by electromagnetic means, including conductive materials or ferromagnetic materials.
