- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and identification of self-locking devices with rigid guide rails. This standard applies to self-locking devices with rigid guide rails used by persons with a combined weight and load of no more than 100kg. When the total mass of the user is greater than 100kg, the manufacturer’s opinion should be consulted and it can only be used after passing the test. This standard applies only to guide rails in vertical orientation.
