This standard stipulates the design, manufacture, and maintenance of railway tank cars made of aluminum (that is, the shell, head and welding components of the tank body are made of pure aluminum and aluminum alloy materials) with the saturated vapor pressure of the medium at the design temperature less than 0.1 MPa. Inspection and acceptance requirements. This standard applies to aluminum railway tank cars with a standard gauge of 1435 mm for transporting concentrated nitric acid, glacial acetic acid, ethylene glycol, hydrogen peroxide, acrylate and similar media. For tank cars whose structural dimensions cannot be determined by this standard, stress analysis including finite element method is allowed to be used for design.
