Scope

This standard applies to magnetic materials with intrinsic coercive force below 500kA/m. Special attention should be paid to the measurement of materials with intrinsic coercivity lower than 40A/m and higher than 160kA/m. This standard specifies the method for measuring the intrinsic coercive force of magnetic materials in an open magnetic circuit.
