This standard specifies the electromechanical contactors for household and similar purposes, the main contacts of which are used to connect the rated voltage not exceeding AC 440V, the rated operating current under the use category AC-7a is less than or equal to 63A, and the rated operating current under the use category AC-7b Circuits less than or equal to 32A and rated limited short-circuit current less than or equal to 6kA. This standard applies to contactors that are generally not used to break short-circuit currents, so appropriate short-circuit protective devices should be installed as part of it when used. This standard does not apply to the following electrical appliances: Contactors conforming to GB 14048.4; Semiconductor contactors; Contactors for special purposes; Auxiliary contacts of contactors. This standard stipulates the following requirements: The characteristics of the contactor The contactor should meet the following requirements Operation and performance Dielectric performance Enclosure protection level Structure EMC performance verification Meet the above conditions Tests and test methods adopted Experimental procedures and test products submitted for certification The parameters that should be provided by the quantity contactor or the parameters that should be provided in the manufacturer's sample
