Scope: This International Standard specifies the use of conventional sheet formers for the preparation of laboratory sheets for physical testing in order to evaluate relevant properties of the pulp. This standard applies to most types of pulp. However, it is not suitable for certain pulps with very long fibers, such as pulps of unchopped cotton fibers, flax and similar raw materials. This standard does not apply to the preparation of laboratory paper sheets for the determination of blue light reflection factor (ISO brightness) according to GB/T 8940.2.
