Scope

This part of GB/T 2912 specifies the method for the determination of free hydrolyzed formaldehyde or released formaldehyde in textiles using high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detector (HPLC/UVD) or diode array detector (HPLC/DAD). This section applies to any form of textiles. This section applies to textiles with a formaldehyde content between 5mg/kg and 1000mg/kg, especially for samples of dark extracts.
