Scope

This part of GB/T 2912 specifies the method for the determination of free formaldehyde content by water extraction and partial hydrolysis. Not partially suitable for textiles of any kind. This section applies to textiles with a free formaldehyde content between 20mg/kg and 3500mg/kg. The detection limit is 20mg/kg. Results below the detection limit were reported as "not detected".
