- This standard specifies the method for the determination of formaldehyde in food simulants. This standard applies to the migration of formaldehyde (including formaldehyde converted from hexamethylenetetramine) in polymer materials in contact with food in four food simulants (water, 3% acetic acid solution, 10% ethanol solution and olive oil) Quantity determination.
