Scope

This standard specifies the instrument requirements and measurement methods for chemical reagent molecular absorption spectrophotometry (ultraviolet and visible light parts). This standard is applicable to the determination of impurity content in chemical reagents and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic chemical reagents, indicators and specific reagents with absorption wavelengths between 200nm and 850nm.
