Scope

This standard specifies the X-ray real-time imaging non-destructive testing method for magnesium alloy castings. However, acceptance criteria for inhomogeneities within castings are not specified. This standard applies to the real-time nondestructive testing of the types and severity of inhomogeneities inside magnesium alloy castings.
