GB/T 23312.2-2009
Scope
This part of GB/T 23312 specifies the general requirements for grade 120 enamelled round aluminum wire with a single paint layer based on polyvinyl acetal resin. Resins may be modified if the chemical properties of the original resin are preserved and all requirements specified for enameled wire are met. Class 120 indicates a thermal class, requiring a minimum temperature index of 120 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 155°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended temperature for magnet wire use, because it depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal diameter range of conductors stipulated in this part is: ——Class 1: 0.400mm and above and 1.600mm and below; ——Class 2: 0.400mm and above and 5.000mm and below. Refer to GB/T 23312.1-2009 for the nominal diameter of conductors Chapter 4.
