Scope
This part of GB/T 23312 specifies the requirements for double-coated grade 200 enamelled round aluminum wire. The primer layer is based on polyester or polyester sub-acrylic resin, which can be modified if the chemical characteristics of the original resin are preserved and all requirements specified for enameled wire are met. The topcoat layer is based on polyamide resin. Class 200 indicates a thermal class, requiring a minimum temperature index of 200 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 220°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended temperature for magnet wire use, because it depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal diameter range of conductors stipulated in this part is: ——Class 1: 0.400mm and above and 3.150mm and below; ——Class 2: 0.400mm and above and 5.000mm and below.
