- This part specifies the test methods used in the biological toxicity test of some pollutants used or produced in offshore oil exploration and development operations and discharged into the ocean, as well as the treatment of samples, experimental organisms, test procedures, result judgment, Quality control and other requirements. This part is applicable to the biological toxicity test of drilling fluid, base fluid, drilling cuttings and production water used or produced in offshore oil exploration and development operations and discharged into the ocean. The biological toxicity test of pollutants outside the limits in this part can be used as a reference.
