- Scope
- This part specifies the method of combining density measurement with electron probe analysis (or X-ray fluorescence analysis, secondary ion mass spectrometry analysis) to determine the gold content in gold products. This part is applicable to the non-destructive determination of alloy-type forged and pressed gold products with a yellow content of not less than 75%. This standard does not apply to cast or hollow or plated gold articles with bubbles.
