Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of paralytic shellfish toxins in shellfish by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of paralytic shellfish toxins in shellfish. The method detection limit of this standard: GTX4 is 16.7 μg/kg; GTX1 is 50.7 μg/kg; dcGTX3 is 4.8 μg/kg; B1 is 31.9 μg/kg; dcGTX2 is 17.3 μg/kg; GTX3 is 6.5 μg/kg; GTX2 was 19.6 μg/kg; neoSTX was 15.7 μg/kg; dcSTX was 12.5 μg/kg; STX was 14.5 μg/kg; total paralytic shellfish toxin (STXeq) was 125 μg/kg.
