Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of exhaust fans. This standard applies to single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, other voltages not exceeding 480 V, driven by AC motors for industrial purposes (such as workshops, warehouses) and other similar environments installed on the wall for ventilation. Exhaust fan. This standard does not apply to exhaust fans used in household and similar purposes and other special conditions. The safety requirements of exhaust fans included in this standard shall comply with the relevant provisions in Table 6 and Table 7 in the standard.
