Scope

This part specifies the terms and definitions, test conditions, sample selection and test records of mineral wool and its products test methods. This part is applicable to the test methods for various properties of glass wool, rock wool, slag wool, aluminum silicate wool and their products used for heat insulation and sound absorption. Other similar insulation materials can also be referred to.
