- This standard specifies the standard reference conditions for pressure, temperature and humidity used in the measurement and calculation of natural gas, natural gas substitutes and gaseous similar fluids. Standard Reference Conditions are primarily used for custody transfer to unify the various physical properties used to describe the temperament and quantity of natural gas to a common baseline.
