- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and other requirements for compensators for graphite pipes. This standard applies to graphite pipe compensators used in pipelines transporting corrosive media in the chemical, petroleum and other industries, and also applies to graphite pipe compensators in pipelines with similar uses in other industries.
