Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and other requirements for split flanges made of steel for graphite pipes. This standard applies to steel split flanges used in pipelines transporting corrosive media in the chemical, petroleum and other industries, and also applies to steel split flanges in pipelines for similar purposes in other industries.
