Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the oxygen consumption content of coal mine water using the potassium permanganate index method. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical oxygen demand in coal mine water. The concentration range of this standard for determination of chemical oxygen demand is 0.5 mg/L ~ 4.O mg/L.
