Scope

This standard specifies the determination of chemical oxygen consumption in water using the potassium permanganate oxidation method. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical oxygen demand in coal mine industrial water, domestic water, surface water and groundwater. The determination range is 0.5~4.0 mg/L.
