- Scope
- This standard specifies a test method for the laboratory determination of the resistance of protective clothing materials to liquid penetration under constant contact with liquids under a certain pressure, such as repeated exposure of protective clothing to pressurized splashes and sprays of liquids. The "pass/fail" conclusion of protective clothing is determined by visual inspection of liquid penetration. This test method is generally used to evaluate the protective effectiveness of protective clothing materials and materials sampled from finished protective clothing.
