- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of active dry yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for feed additives. This standard is applicable to yeast active cell products that are added to the feed, with Saccharomyces cerevisiae as the strain, through liquid fermentation, ventilated culture, dehydration and drying.
