Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, structural composition and specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of compaction instruments. This standard applies to compaction instruments for determining the maximum dry density and optimal water content of cohesive soils.
