This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of the food additive vanillin. This standard is applicable to the analysis and evaluation of the quality of food additive vanillin produced by chemical synthesis using guaiacol or sulfite pulp waste liquor lignin as raw material.
