Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluation values of energy conservation, test methods and inspection rules for AC electric fans. This standard applies to table fans, rotary fans, wall fans, table fans, floor fans and ceiling fans driven by AC motors with a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other rated voltages not exceeding 480V.
