- This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of polystyrene (PS) resins. This standard applies to amorphous polystyrene homopolymer. This standard does not apply to expandable polystyrene, styrene copolymers, homopolymers of styrene derivatives and those modified with other polymers, such as elastomers.
