Scope
This guiding technical document specifies the general requirements and methods for reliability verification tests of small-capacity AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors), including reliability indicators, test methods, test plans and test procedures of contactors. This guiding technical document is applicable to the reliability verification test of contactors with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, main circuit rated operating current 50A and below, and rated control power supply voltage from 24V to 400V. The reliability verification test of contactors with a rated operating current of the main circuit above 50A can also be carried out with reference to this guidance document. This guiding technical document can be used as a guiding document for contactor manufacturers to conduct product reliability tests.
