Scope
This standard specifies the technical conditions, test methods, acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage of overhead insulated cables with an AC rated voltage of 1 kV and below. This standard applies to copper core, aluminum core, aluminum alloy core weather-resistant polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cables for overhead power lines with AC rated voltage U of 1 kV and below.
