Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and labels, packaging, transportation and storage of woven carpet products. This standard is applicable to wool, synthetic fiber, wool and wool blended fiber as the raw material of the pile, and the pile yarn and the warp and weft of the carpet base are interwoven through the carpet loom on the Wilton and Axminster machine with pile. Woven rugs. Machine-woven carpets with other fiber materials as tufts can also be used as a reference.
