Scope

This standard specifies the instruments and materials, samples, test procedures, test results, accuracy, safety matters and limitations, etc. used in the test method for measuring the thermal stability of substances by differential thermal analyzer and/or differential scanning calorimeter. . This standard applies to the evaluation of the thermal stability of solids, liquids and award-winning substances that have enthalpy changes in an inert or reactive atmosphere under a certain pressure (including normal pressure) and within the temperature range of -50 °C to 1500 °C.
