Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, labels and packaging, transportation and storage of tufted carpet products. This standard applies to synthetic fibers, wool and wool blended fibers as pile raw materials. The yarn is inserted into the base fabric through a tufting machine to form a pile row, and an adhesive is applied on the back of the carpet to fix the pile, or the back is pasted. Lined tufted carpet. Tufted carpets with other fiber materials as piles can also be used as a reference.
