Scope
This standard specifies the conditions and detailed analysis steps for the determination of fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose and lactose in foods by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose and lactose in cereals, dairy products, fruit and vegetable products, honey, syrup, beverages and other foods. The minimum detection limit of fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose and lactose in this standard is 0.4%.
