This standard specifies the test methods for the boiling water shrinkage and dry hot air shrinkage of chemical fiber filaments such as polyester (polyester), polyamide (nylon), polypropylene (polypropylene), and cellulose fibers - skein method and single fiber Law. The twisted wire method provides two forms: manual measurement method and instrument measurement method. In case of dispute, the manual measurement method is used. When this method is not applicable, the relevant parties shall agree on the corresponding test method. This standard applies to chemical fiber filaments with a linear density less than 3000dtex. This standard does not apply to pre-oriented filaments.
