Scope: This standard specifies the type and frame size, operating conditions, technical requirements, test methods, test conditions, inspection rules and delivery preparations of permanent magnet low-speed DC tachogenerators. This standard applies to permanent magnet low-speed DC tachogenerators. This standard should be used together with the special technical conditions for permanent magnet low-speed DC tachogenerators (hereinafter referred to as motors).
