Scope

Method A of this standard is applicable to the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid plasticizers with a kinematic viscosity of 1 centipoise to 15,000 centipoise. When the viscosity is greater than 15,000 centipoise, a Pinnacle viscometer with a diameter of 5.0 mm or 6.0 mm should be used for measurement. Method B is suitable for the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid plasticizers with a kinematic viscosity below 10,000 centipoise.
