- This standard specifies the characteristics and test methods of gas ionizing radiation detectors used in nuclear reactors. This standard applies to neutron proportional counter tubes with and without cables (BF3 counter tube, 3He counter tube, 10B counter tube), fission ionization chamber (fission Pulse ionization chamber, fission current ionization chamber), neutron ionization chamber (gamma compensation neutron ionization chamber, no gamma compensation neutron ionization chamber) and gamma ionization chamber.
